Han Seong-sook has served as Prime Minister of South Korea since 1 July 2026. A businesswoman rather than a career politician, she was the first female chief executive of Naver Corporation from 2017 to 2021, overseeing development of Naver Pay and the acquisition of Wattpad, and served as Minister of SMEs and Startups before her appointment as Prime Minister by President Lee Jae-myung.
