Mohammad Mustafa (born 26 August 1954 in Kafr Sur, near Tulkarm) is a Palestinian economist and politician who has served as Prime Minister of the Palestinian National Authority since 31 March 2024, heading what has been described as the first technocratic government in Palestinian history. He holds degrees from the University of Baghdad and George Washington University and spent about fifteen years at the World Bank Group before chairing the Palestine Investment Fund. He was appointed by President Mahmoud Abbas and is independent, not a member of Fatah or any other Palestinian faction.
