The Modi III Government is the current government of India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and formed by the Bharatiya Janata Party at the head of the National Democratic Alliance coalition, since 9 June 2024. It is Modi's third term and the immediate successor to his second-term government (2019 to 2024), which is not separately minted in this pass (named as an open gap).

India upholds its 2003 No First Use doctrine: it will not use nuclear weapons first against a nuclear-weapon state, reserving massive retaliation in response to a nuclear attack, with a stated exception allowing nuclear retaliation for a major biological or chemical attack.
India recognized the State of Palestine in 1988, one of the first countries to do so, and continues to support a negotiated two-state solution alongside its own separate relations with Israel.
