Military and Transitional Governments

A government holding power through a military council, a coup, an unresolved civil conflict between rival claimant governments, or another arrangement outside the ordinary constitutional succession the country's own system of government otherwise describes, named here as a browsing convenience for irregular executive arrangements rather than a claim that these governments share one constitutional form with each other. Belongs here: Sudan's Burhan Transitional Sovereignty Council, Yemen's Alimi Presidential Leadership Council and its rival Ali al-Zaidi, Shaya al-Zindani and Sifi Ghrieb Governments, and Myanmar's Min Aung Hlaing Administration, a military junta despite its "administration" name. Does not belong here: a government that reached office through the country's ordinary constitutional process, however contested the outcome, filed under one of the constitutional-form buckets above instead.
